Work Done¶
Work is done when a force causes an object to move a distance. Work can be calculated with the following equation. Work is measured in Joules (or newton-metres).
Equation¶
\[
W = Fs
\]
Where:
- \(W\) is the work done, in Joules (\(J\))
- \(F\) is the force, in Newtons (\(N\))
- \(s\) is the distance, in metres (\(m\))
