Resistance

The resistance of a component is a measure of how much the component resists electric current.

Equation

\[ V = IR \]

Where:

  • \(V\) is the potential difference, in Volts (V)
  • \(I\) is the current, in Amps (A)
  • \(R\) is the resistance, in Ohms (Ω)
